Let's hope the T-Birds can build on the success paved by McMaster yesterday.

"We got a lot out of it," insisted Seahawk coach Mike Deane after his freshman-laden squad was victimized by the Canadian team’s experience, including a 31-point, 11-rebound effort from former Brown University star Keenan Jeppesen.

For five consecutive seasons, the Vikes have been the best at preventing the other teams in the Canada West conference from scoring. The defence is expected to again keep the team in games, but the biggest question mark for the Vikes is who will do the scoring.
