6'4" Kevin Shaw converted an "and 1" lay-in with 22 seconds remaining in the game and a subsequent attempt at a game-winning 3 by Robbie Sihota (25 points) came off to allow the Clan to defeat the Dinos in Burnaby, offsetting last night's loss to Lethbridge. The game saw four lead changes in the final minutes and a big Clan run that got SFU all the way back from an 8 point deficit with just over 5 minutes remaining, using a 9-0 run to take a 1 point lead highlighted by an "and 1" by 6'7" Eric Burrell followed by two free throws by Shaw (20 points). Sihota gave the Dinos their last lead of the night with 42 seconds remaining on a pair of free throws but Shaw's big play on the next possession was the game-decider. It appears as if the Dinos played without star 6'7" forward Ross Bekkering. The Clan went an incredible 28 for 30 (93%) from the free throw line while the Dinos were 10-14.
