Bishop's 77, Concordia 71

Freshman Onnex Blackwood's lay-in with 4 1/2 minutes remaining gave Bishop's the lead for good, Tim Hunter later followed with a big 3 and a quick steal to help ice the game and the Gaiters grabbed a huge win at home to vault themselves back into the playoff hunt in Quebec. Earlier, Blackwood, who led all scorers with 21 points, had given Bishop's an 8 point lead 1:30 into the fourth quarter, but the Stingers had one run left, going on an 11-3 run to tie the game culminated in an Evens Laroche lay-up. Laroche had 14 and 6'1" guard Decee Krah had 12 for Concordia who hurt themselves going only 55% from the free throw line, including 1-8 in the fourth quarter and 8-16 overall in the second half. Conversely 5'11" Orien Green was solid from the line, going 4-4 in the final minute part of an 8-9 effort that contributed to his 20 points. Bishop's shot 62% from the field in the second half, overcoming 16 Stinger offensive rebounds. BOX SCORE
