Acadia 88, UNB 79
The Axemen remained undefeated with a home victory over the winless Varsity Reds in a game which was very close throughout until Acadia pulled away in the fourth quarter. 6'6" Justin Boutilier showed he is likely all the way back from an injury with 21 points to lead all scorers and he added 6 assists. 6'5" Alex Traikov also had 21, adding 12 rebounds including 8 on the offensive glass. The teams combined to go only 3-17 from downtown but both shot extremely well: Acadia 52.3% vs. UNB's 46.6%. 6'5" Alex DesRoches led UNB with 18 ponts, 9 rebounds and 5 assists while freshman sharpshooter Daniel Quirion (Moncton, NB) added 17 points including 2-4 from downtown.
