AUS Tonight: CBU dominates Dal; X handles Acadia

St. FX 89, Acadia 72 Christian Upshaw led 5 X-Men in double figures with 27 points and added 10 assists as the St. FX jumped out to double digit lead at halftime, held off a second half Axemen run and coasted to a win at home in Antigonish. 5'9" Will Silver added 12 points, 8 rebounds, 11 assists and 8 steals in a wonderful all-round effort for X, 6'7" Alberto Rodriquez had 17 points/6 rebounds and 6'5" Jeremy Dunn added 13. 6'5" Alex Traikov had a strong game inside to lead Acadia with 22 points and 16 rebounds while 6'6" freshman Owen Klassen went 6 for 8 from the floor for 16 points and 7 boards to lead Acadia. Star 6'3" wing Casey Fox turned the ball over 8 times for Acadia, finishing with 11 points. BOX SCORE

Cape Breton 84, Dalhousie 62 The Capers held Dal to 32% shooting and led by 26 after three quarters, handing the Tigers their second consecutive loss in an easy win. 6'3" Paris Carter and 6'1" Jimmy Dorsey each had 4 3's and together led the Capers with 18 points apiece on the night. Carter knocked in 4 of 6 from downtown in only 20 minutes as Coach Jim Charters gave 11 players significant playing time. 5'11" Tremaine Fraser had 16 points for CBU. Simon Farine had 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the Tigers but shot only 6 for 19 from the floor. BOX SCORE
