The reigning CIS champion Ravens (2-0), winners of six of the last seven W.P. McGree trophies, opened conference play with a close call, edging Guelph 75-74, before outscoring Brock 80-63.
Carleton, which is No. 1 for the 29th time in 30 polls dating back to the start of the 2007-08 campaign, hosts No. 6 Windsor (2-0) and Western (2-0) this weekend.

I'm sorry but Concordia doesn't merit any top 10 consideration.
While they might have a 5-2 non conference record...the only winning record amongst any team from the Q...those wins came against some pretty feeble opposition.
Among those five wins was a 9 point win over RMC, a team that usually loses by a margin of around 40 points per game.
Not counted in the Stinger's record is a 19 point thrashing at the hands of St. Lawrence College of the OCAA.
Clearly, this team presently bears little resemblance to the one that competed at nationals last March.
Currently, no QSSF team is in the top 15 in the country.
