Western 94, York 61
Shooting a sizzling 51% from the floor overall including a red-hot 14 for 27 from downtown, the Mustangs had their second consecutive rout over an OUA East opponent this weekend, receiving another excellent performance from 6'5" Andy Wedemire, who had 24 points/8 rebounds. Western got pretty much whatever they wanted against a pourous Lions "d" as six different players hit three pointers and Western grabbed 12 offensive rebounds against the bigger and more athletic York front line. 6'2" Jason Milliquet went 5-7 from downtown and finished with 17 points. Western, which led by 29 after three quarters, emptied the bench early while York's two heralded go-to guys 5'11" guard David Tyndale and 6'10" Stefan Haynes each finished with 5 points with Haynes battling foul trouble all afternoon. Tyndale went 2-9 from the floor and only 1-7 from 3 making some questionable decisions with the ball along the way. London native Dejan Kravic returned home for the first time in his University career and finished with 9 points and 6 rebounds.
