The first half of the AUS schedule ends with a bang with at least four huge games, two each in Antigonish and Sydney. Acadia Axemen (4-0) get their opportunity to gain national prominence with games at #5 X (3-0) in a battle of unbeatens on Friday and then at #7 Cape Breton on Saturday. Also on Friday, #6 Dal Tigers (3-1), coming off a resounding loss to X at home this past Sunday, meet the Caper (2-1) in Sydney, where 6'3" Paris Carter appears ready to go after his hand injury kept him out of the lineup for several weeks. Dal hopes to have 6'3" Andrew Sullivan back in the lineup after he missed Sunday's game against X with a bout of the flu. Note the afternoon starting time on Saturday (4 PM) for the Dal at X rematch.

Also on the weekend a pair of winless teams meet in New Brunswick as UPEI (0-3) visits the Varsity Reds (0-5). The games go Saturday night at 8 PM and Sunday at 3 PM.
