Fox buzzer-beater, Traikov big second half lift Axemen

More on yesterday's dramatic Acadia victory at MUN as 6'3" Casey Fox hit a floater with 2.4 seconds remaining and the Axemen came from 19 down to sweep the weekend series. 6'6" Alex Traikov also had a huge second half in the win.

Fox beats buzzer in dramatic win

The Axemen were only able to muster 20 first half points but their defense kept them in the game until their offense finally kicked in.

The men were trailing 39-20 at the half and came all the way back to win in dramatic fashion with Casey Fox hitting a floater with 2.4 seconds remaining to put his team up one, for a 65-64 final.

Top-ranked Ravens too much for Badgers

The Brock Badgers men's basketball got a first-hand look at what it takes to be the best.

The Badgers dropped an 80- 63 decision Saturday to the No 1.-ranked Carleton Ravens before 750 fans at the Bob Davis Gym.

Brock coach Ken Murray characterized the loss as a learning experience.
