The Mustangs broke open a tight game with their defense, holding the host Rams to only 7 fourth-quarter points and forcing 6'7" Boris Bakovic into 8-22 shooting to win by 11 in Toronto. 6'5" Andrew Wedemire led the way with 23 points (9-14 shooting) and 7 rebounds while steady 6'1" point Ryan Barbeau again had a solid 19 point, 9 rebound, 3 assist effort. Freshman Zac Angus had 12 points in 29 minutes in a strong supporting effort for Western.
