Tuesday's CIS vs. NCAA action

From Nathan Schellenberg... The Saskatchewan Huskies will have one more stiff test before opening conference play this Friday at home vs. Brandon. Saskatchewan (6-1 Overall, 5-1 vs. CIS) is on the road for a rare mid-week contest, as they play the Montana State Bobcats Tuesday evening in their final non-conference game. Tip-off is scheduled for Tuesday night at 7:00 PM (MDT) in Bozeman, MT. Check for live audio and video coverage at Montana State website . Montana State is a member of the Big Sky Conference. Last year MSU (15-17 Overall, 6-10 Big Sky) came within one possession of making the NCAA Tournament when they lost to Portland State 79-77 in the conference championship game. The Bobcats return all but two players from last year's squad, including four starters. Athletic guard Will Bynum led the team in scoring (10.7 ppg) last year and is back for his senior season. This will be the first time the Huskies have played at an NCAA Division I school since November of 2005. That year the Dogs traveled to Virginia to face three - William & Mary, Old Dominion (both of Colonial Athletic Association) and Virginia Tech (ACC). This will be the first meeting between the two schools. The last time Saskatchewan played an NCAA Division I school was in September of 2007. The Dogs played the Weber State Wildcats, the 2006-07 Big Sky champs, in Calgary.
