Cougars defeat Spartans

After a rocky start, the BYU men’s basketball team overcame the Trinity Western Spartans, 74-56, in an exhibition game Thursday evening at the Marriott Center.

“I was really impressed with Trinity Western,” said BYU head coach Dave Rose. “They came out physical and strong. They were well coached, and made us work on every possession offensively and defensively. That’s what you want out of an exhibition game.”
