Fraser Valley (8-12, 7-10) 90, Winnipeg (10-11, 7-8) 86 DOUBLE OVERTIME 6'9" Kyle Graves hit a desperation shot as time expired in regulation to tie the game and then 6'1" freshman Tristan Smith took over in the extra frames as the Cascades moved into sole possession of fourth place and within 2 games of third place Simon Fraser with a thrilling double overtime win over the Wesmen. Manitoba (7-15, 4-11) 77, Thompson Rivers (3-16, 2-15) 62 The Bisons won their third in a row with a road win in Kamloops. Manitoba/Thompson Rivers Box Score Still Manitoba must make up 4 games in the standings against either Winnipeg or Regina, although the Bisons do host the Cougars twice on the final weekend of the season. Manitoba will have to be within one game of the Cougars by that time to have any hope of compete for a playoff spot. With games remaining against Brandon (twice), at Calgary and at Fraser Valley (tonight), the task is daunting.
