Ex All-Canadian Bridgeland Named Interim Coach at Pepperdine

On the heels of NCAA/CIS talk that allows Canadian schools to consider membership in Division 2 comes word that Eric Bridgeland, former National Freshman of the Year (1989-90) and two-time All-Canadian (1991-92, 1993-94) guard at Manitoba, was named interim head coach at NCAA Division I Pepperdine yesterday after Wave head coach Vance Walberg resigned. espn.com article and note from Pepperdinesports.com

Also, Saskatchewan's Kyle Grant recently joined the career 2000-point club. He also set school record for three’s in a game (9) and attempts (16) from beyond the arc. Nine three’s also ties the Canada West Conference record. Here's the note from huskiehoops.com
