Colin Swift had 26 points for the Varsity Reds, who remain winless in league play.
Acadia (16-4, 10-1) 80, UPEI (6-16, 5-6) 54 The Axemen pushed into a half-game lead atop the AUS in advance of tomorrow's showdown against second-place Cape Breton with an easy win over the Panthers in front of about 850 spectators at Wolfville. All 12 Axemen who dressed saw action and 6'1" Paolo Santana appears to be rounding into form as he had 19 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists in 29 minutes. 6'5" Sean Berry played only 17 minutes, scoring 16 points as Acadia led 44-23 at halftime. 6'7" freshman Manock Lual led UPEI with 16 points on 7-14 shooting.
