According to the Nanaimo Daily News, Malaspina College has officially applied to the CIS for membership for men's and women's basketball and volleyball. A decision on the Mariners' bid will be made in June 2009, Hunter said. If approved, Malaspina could join Canada West for the 2010-11 season but would be on probation until 2013-14. Malaspina is one of three B.C. Colleges Athletic Association schools -- UBC Okanagan and the University of Northern B.C. are the others -- who have provided letters of intent to apply to the conference. Malaspina is located in Naniamo, B.C. and is located on Vancouver Island about 70 miles away from the University of Victoria.

I hope Stan Peters wins his lawsuit against TWU.
In fact, I hope he takes them to the cleaners...it's bloody well what they deserve.
Furthermore, I hope that this fiasco blows up in Murray Hall's face.
As they say, what goes around comes around.
