OUA Tonight: West & East Games

OUA WEST

8:00 pm Laurier (8-11) at Waterloo (4-15) With a victory over the last place and already-eliminated Warriors, the Hawks move even closer to clinching a playoff spot as Lakehead would have to sweep their final two games at home this coming weekend against Guelph and then the Hawks would have to lose their final two at home to Brock and at Windsor. However, the Hawks have always had trouble playing at the Waterloo PAC and the Warriors have played much better down the stretch including an encouraging effort against Western this past Saturday. There is no Waterloo webcast scheduled for this game.

8:00 pm McMaster (8-10) at Windsor (15-4) The Lancers have won 10 in a row and are one of Canada's hottest teams. Windsor officially locks up top spot with a victory while the Marauders must win at least two, maybe three of their final 4 games, all of which are on the road. Streaming Sports Network

8:00 pm Western (11-8) at Brock (13-6) The Mustangs continue to hold hope that they can finish second and grab a first round bye but it will be difficult. Brock is very tough at home and even if Western does defeat the Badgers, they will need help: Brock finishes at Laurier and then home to Mac. Western completes a five-game road swing with tonight's game and then finishes at home against McMaster and Guelph. Streaming Sports Network

OUA EAST
8:00 pm Ryerson (7-13) at Toronto (15-5) The Blues need to win one of their two remaining games to clinch second place and a bye in the first round of the playoffs. If the Rams can win one of the two remaining games against the Blues and/or have York lose on Saturday night at home against Laurentian, they will finish fifth and face Queen's next Wednesday night in the first round of the playoffs.

6:00 pm RMC (0-21) at Queen's (13-8) Neither team has any opportunity to move up or down in the standings. The Gaels will have a full week to prepare to host the fifth place team in the East (either York or Ryerson) at home in Kingston next Wednesday night. RMC's season is over after tonight's game.
