CANADA WEST PLAYOFF PICTURE is almost set as, with the exception of the Pacific Division third/fourth place race, next weekend's division semi-finals are all set. By virtue of their win against Manitoba last night, Regina Cougars will host the Great Plains Best-of-3 semi-final. Regina is one game ahead of Winnipeg but already owns the tiebreaker. The winner of that series will meet Brandon in two weeks in a Best-of-3 division final in Brandon with the winner advancing to the Canada West Final Four. In the Central, Saskatchewan will travel to Edmonton next weekend for a Best-of-3 Central division semi-final series with Alberta. The winner of that series then travels to Calgary in two weeks for a Best-of-3 division final with the winner of that series hosting the Canada West Final Four in three weeks. In the Pacific, third place has not yet been officially decided (see TWU/SFU game below).
