Acadia 97, Dalhousie 83 6'5" Leonel Saintil shot 14 for 18 from the floor, finishing with 33 points and added 15 rebounds while 6'5" Sean Berry added 29 on 5-6 3's to lead the Axemen to a home win, putting them closer to clinching one of two first round byes at the AUS tournament. Saintil had 9 points and 8 rebounds in the third quarter when Acadia led by over 20. Meanwhile, Berry ignited a game-turning 10-2 run late in the first quarter with a pair of threes sandwiched around a dunk as the Axemen overcame an early 7 point deficit to lead comfortably by halftime. Acadia shot a scorching 84.6% (22 for 26) from the floor in the half. 6'5" Germaine Bendegue had 6 early points and 6'2" Andrew Sullivan knocked down the first of his 3 3's to give Dal a 20-13 lead before Berry went to work. In the first half alone, Saintil had 20 points on 8-8 shooting to lead all scorers while Berry has added 17 on 3-4 3's. 6'1" Paolo Santana continues to work back into form, knocking down a late 3, going 3-3 shooting and getting 10 of 12 his points in the first half. The Tigers had a chance to make a late charge, down 13 with 4 1/2 minutes remaining after Saintil went to the bench with his 5th foul. But the Tigers could not score for the next 3 minutes during which time Bendegue fouled out. Sullivan led Dal with 24 points. Box Score
Cape Breton 73, UPEI 61 Paul Blake had 19 points and 10 rebounds as the Capers rallied from an 8 point halftime deficit, holding the Panthers to only 20 second-half points to win in Charlottetown. Box Score
