Rouge et Or stuck with Weber State until early in the second half after 6'3" J.F. Beaulieu-Maheux hit a three to bring Laval back to within 3 at 43-40 on the first possession. The Wildcats then held Laval scoreless for nearly 8 minutes and cruised to the victory. The game was tied at 34-34 with 4:17 remaining in the first half before Weber State ended the half on a 9-3 run to lead by 6. 6'6" Etienne Labrecque had 22 points to lead Laval including 4 for 8 from downtown while Beaulieu-Maheux added 13 for Rouge et Or, who were outrebounded 57 to 24!
