The Redmen trailed by only 5 at halftime as 6'3" freshman Simon Bibeau had 18 points and 5 rebounds. Scarlett Knights led by 12 late in the first half before 6'3" Kyle Bernard had 6 of his 8 first-half points in the run and a pair of threes by Bibeau, who had 14 of his in the first, got the game back by the half. Rutgers grabbed their largest lead at 72-53 with 5 minutes remaining in the game and coasted to the win.
