Manitoba 80, Thompson Rivers 73
Eric Garcia's second consecutive three with 27 seconds remaining in the game broke a 73-73 tie and was the difference in the Bisons win at home over the winless WolfPack. 6'5" Chas Kok had given TRU their final lead of the game with a three but Garcia then went to work and Manitoba stopped the WolfPack on their final possession to move to 5-1 on the season. Garcia led Manitoba with 14 points, while Richard Reimer recorded a double double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. For Thompson Rivers, Kok led all scorers with 25 points, along with 9 rebounds. The game was close from the opening tip, although Thompson Rivers maintained a slight advantage at halftime with a 37-32 lead. A 13-3 run by the Bisons to start the second half would erase the lead however.
