More Scores/Comments

TWITTER UPDATE: At the urging of some old friends, I am trying to get Twitterized and actually opened an account recently called cishoops. Twitter and Facebook are becoming useful tools for communicating CIS basketball information however I find these are somewhat cumbersome to find specific accounts via existing search engines. I am hoping readers can send me emails with links to teams with Twitter and/or Facebook accounts. Hopefully as we get comfortable with using these tools we can improve the user experience. Thanks in advance... Add one more game to the Findlay College schedule as the Oilers face York Lions tonight at Tait MacKenzie Gym.... Western defeats St. Clair... from Mustangs Backcourt club site Thursday night the Mustangs took on St. Clair College from Windsor and came way with 106-50 final score victory. Andy Wedemire led a balanced Mustangs attack with 23 points and dominated inside. 'I thought we did a good job running the floor and getting out in transition. We were also able to get quality touches for our bigs inside. Defensively after the first quarter we were able to shut down their dribble penetration and limit their open looks." Coach Brad Campbell. Hi Scorers: Andy Wedemire 23 pts 9 rbs, Dave Harder 16 pts 6 rbs, Marcus Barnett 12 pts 5 rbs, Zack Angus 11 pts 4 rbs 4 ast, Garrett Olexiuk 11 pts. Up next: Mustangs vs. Ryerson University, October 14 7pm @ Alumni Hall... Regina Cougars Update: Some after thoughts from Regina's decisive win over Medicine Hat College beginning with the Rattlers shorthanded roster: their two best players did not play due to injury. For Regina, 6'8" Paul Gareau, back from a year off and in the hunt for a starting role up front, did not play due to injury but is expected to be back in time for the Saskatchewan tournament in two weeks. The news is not as positive for 6'6" U.S. import Danny Lebeck who likely will have to sit until January.
