Coach K's record is amazing for its longevity and the fact he has maintained a career winning percentage of about .650, or nearly 2 out of every three games is an X win.
His only contemporary is Bob Bain who also has been coaching for 35 years and is drawing near the 700 win plateau.
It will be interesting to see how long Dave Smart remains in the CIS.
His first 10 years as Carleton's head coach has produced a career win-loss record that is mind-boggling.
Over 300 career wins overall but with a winning percentage in excess of .850...incredible.
If Smart could somehow maintain that torrid pace, he would eclipse Konchalski's and Hemmings' records in just 25 years...a full decade sooner than the two winninest coaches in CIS history.
