Kale Harrison scored 33 points in the Hawks win
... from Laurier web site... 6'5" Kale Harrison (Stratford, Ont.) scored 33 points as the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks defeated the Saint Mary's University Huskies 83-71 in front of 107 fans at the Athletic Complex.
Saint Mary's got off the bus and into the match early, jumping out to a quick four point lead on the home team. The Hawks would respond late in the first with a triumvirate of three pointers from Travis Berry (St. Catharines, Ont.), Kyle Enright (Oakville, Ont.) and Harrison which gave the home team a five point advantage. The Huskies came back and tied the game up at 17, but Laurier’s Conor Meschino (Oakville, Ont.) sunk two baskets and Harrison hit another for a five point lead by the end of the first.
