Queen's 94, UQAM 90 (overtime)
In Kingston, 6'6" Mitch Leger put on a dominating performance inside and out with 39 points (16-23 from the floor), 12 rebounds, 8 steals, 6 assists as the Gaels outlasted a very tough and hard working Citadins team. Gaels veteran guards 6'1" Baris Ondul and 6'2" Ryan Hairsine were also instrumental in the victory as Ondul went 4 for 5 from downtown and finished with 20 points while Hairsine added 17 points including 3/4 from ‘3’) plus 5 rebounds. The Gaels, who were 10 of 19 from downtown as a team and shot 56% overall, led by 4 at 45-41 at the half, staying in the game with their shooting and on the offensive glass 16 "o" boards. 6'4" Gregory St. Armand was impressive for UQAM with 21 points, 12 rebounds, 5 steals, while Kevin Levy added 16 points (9/9 on FT’s), Kevin Bitondo – 14 points and Olivier Hudon – 12 points. UQAM played really hard and got after it the entire night. They used a lot of pressure both man and zone in the full court which help create 20 Queen's turnovers.
