Cape Breton 97, Bishop's 55

The Capers jumped out to a 17-1 lead, allowed the Gaiters to get back in the game near halftime but then blew away Bishop's with a 33-12 third quarter in winning their second consecutive game at the Jack Donohue Memorial Tip-Off tournament at uOttawa. 6'2" U.S. import Jimmy Dorsey had 19 points in a balance Caper victory, adding 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Veterans Scott Jaspers-Fayer (16 points) and Tremaine Fraser (14 points) were noteworthy in the easy win as well. Cape Breton goes for the tournament championship tomorrow at noon ET against the U of T Varsity Blues, who currently lead the host Gee-Gees 37-29 at halftime supported by big efforts from their pair of senior guards Nick Magalas and Rob Paris.
