Christian "T-Bear" Upshaw had 18 points (10 in the second half) and Algonquin transfer Charlie Spurr added 16 including 4-4 from downtown (all in the first half) as the X-Men took advantage of a poor shooting Badger squad (29% for the game including just 3-16 from downtown) to claim a nice road win in St. Catharines. The X-Men held Brock scoreless for the first 6 1/2 minutes of the game, jumping on top 12-0 off the start of the game. However the Badgers scored 16 of the next 19 points to jump out to their only lead of the half at 16-15. With the game tied at 18, X went on a 10-0 run, a lead they kept into halftime. 6'1" Charlie Spurr went 4 for 4 from downtown to lead X while 5'10" Christian "T-Bear" Upshaw played all 20 minutes of the first half and had 8 points for the X-Men. Brock's Clinton Springer-Williams, Phil Ramirez and Didi Mukendi combined to shoot just 6 for 41 with Springer-Williams finishing with 10 points but only 2-14 shooting (6-6 from the free throw line). The teams combined for 54 turnovers including 30 by the winners. X largest lead with 71-49 with just under 5 minutes remaining. Jordan Johnson led Brock with 13 points in just 14 minutes.
