Cougars sweep pair of games in Regina
Regina move to 3-0 on the young season (all vs. non-CIS teams) by winning a pair of games on the weekend. Friday night the Cougars knocked off Minot State, an NAIA Division II team from North Dakota 96-63 with 6'4" Jamal Williams going off for a 23 pts/15 rebound double/double. Earlier today, Regina defeated Williston State, a Junior College from North Dakota 89-86 as last season's Canada West second team all-star 6'7" Chris Heshka, led the way with 23 points/nine boards. Regina played without usual starting shooting guard and three point specialist Jeff Lukomski who is currently toiling for the football Cougars.
