Ottawa 102, McGill 80

6'5" Warren Ward had 23 points and 8 rebounds while 6'8" Louis Gauthier had 16 points and 7 rebounds including a pair of dunks, one on a put back, in his most impressive outing of the season as the Gee-Gees shot 12-24 from downtown allowing Ottawa to defeat McGill. Both teams shot the lights out in this entertaining game as McGill went 11 for 23 from downtown. 5'11" Max Clarkson, who has asserted himself in the Gee-Gees rotation added 16 points including 4 3's. 6'4" Matt Thornhill had a nice game for the Redmen knocking down some open 3's. McGill Head Coach Craig Norman missed the game with an illness. Ottawa led by 15 at 54-39 at the half on the heels of a blistering shooting performance and the Redmen couldn't bring it back below double digits in the second half as the Gee-Gees moved to 2-0 in the tournament. 6'4" Josh Gibson-Bascombe added 13 points (but only 1-6 from 3), 12 assists against only 1 turnover, a marked contrast from Friday night when he turned it over 11 times. McMaster is playing UQAM currently. Mac and Ottawa meet tomorrow at noon ET in the tournament finale.
