Manitoba 105, McMaster 102 in overtime

The Bisons won their second consecutive game on their tour of Southern Ontario with an overtime victory over the host Marauders, spoiling the McMaster coaching debut of Amos Connolly.  6'7" Sean Maxwell drained 5 of 11 3's and led all scorers with 25 points to lead five Manitoba players in double figures.  Richard Reimer shot a tidy 8 for 11 and finished with 18 points while newcomer point guard Josh Ogden added 9 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in 31 minutes at the point.

The Marauders, who played without sophomore guard Victor Raso, got 24 points and 7 rebounds from emerged star Cam Michaud while veteran defensive specialist Scott Laws chipped in with 20 points.  Mac got a nice contribution from a somewhat unlikely source as Toronto St. Michaels grad Nathan Pelech had 16 points and 5 boards while transfer Kenan Etale added 13 points/7 rebounds for Mac, which hosts Fraser Valley Sunday afternoon.
