The 'Birds played the Toreros tough before losing in overtime. Undersized, but tough and skilled 6'5" forward Grahame Bath had 18 points and 12 rebounds to lead UBC while 6'3" UFV transfer Doug Plumb added 18 for the Birds. 6'0" senior guard Alex Murphy, who finished with 14 points, had tied the score with a buzzer-beating layup at the end of regulation. USD returns home with two wins in three contests

Vancouver, British Columbia - The USD men's basketball team closed out their three-game foreign tour with a 91-83 overtime victory over the University of British Columbia today. The win was on the heels of their 73-61 setback to the University of Fraser Valley on Wednesday evening; the Toreros opened up the trip with a solid 73-64 victory over Thompson Rivers on Monday.
