The Lumberjacks pulled off a 36-17 second-quarter run including 20-5 off the start of the quarter to break the game open and cruised to an easy win against the Pronghorns in Calgary. 6'3" Danhue Lawrence had 28 points on 8-24 shooting for Lethbridge but turned the ball over 12 times while slick 6'5" forward Randy Davis added 21 for the Horns. 5'11" U.S. import Zack Humphrey made his Pronghorns debut at the point as Coach Dave Adams searches for a replacement for CW All-Star Jeff Price. Humphrey played 39 minutes and turned it over only twice (out of 26 team turnovers) while scoring 9 points. Lethbridge used only 7 players and played without UVic transfer 6'1" Julian Spear Chief-Morris, plus Casper College transfers 6'9" Abner Kamps, another American, 6'11" Toronto native Nikola Kovac.
