New Mexico State 80, Montreal All-Stars 76

Led by senior guard Hernst Laroche, a Montreal native, the Aggies defeated a group of former and current NCAA & CIS stars by four this afternoon at McGill U. in Montreal. The Montreal club included native Quebeckers 6'8" Max Boudreau, who just graduated from the University of Buffalo Bulls, 6'6" William Archambault, recent graduate of Davidson and former McGill sharpshooter Dominic Marcario, who led all scorers with 24 points. The club also used current Redmen Tristan R-Tremblay, Sebastian Gatti, Oliver Bouchard and freshman Simon Bibeau who had 10 points, one of 4 Montreal players in double figures. The other Canadians in the Aggies lineup also contributed as junior Tyrone Watson (Hamilton) had 12 points while freshman Christian Kabongo added 3 as New Mexico State overcame a 3 point halftime deficit.
