TWO GAMES TONIGHT, BOTH IN QUBL:
Bishop's (1-12) at McGill (8-5) These teams met last Saturday in Lennoxville with the Redmen pulling away late in the third quarter in a game in which both teams either defended very well or couldn't make shots (likely a combination of the two). For the Redmen, this is the first of three consecutive home games to complete their regular season - with a sweep of these games beginning tonight, then Saturday vs. Concordia and next week vs. UQAM - McGill will host a first-round playoff game. No web cast appears to be scheduled although Redmen do usually webcast on SSN Canada.
UQAM (5-8) at Laval (9-4) Citadins still have an outside shot at third place however McGill must lose all 3 at home and UQAM must sweep. Rouge et Or have had their difficulty matching up with UQAM's speed and strength - the last time these two teams met at the PEPS Citadins won handily. Laval owns the tiebreaker with both McGill and Concordia and completes their season against Bishop's and UQAM again. This could be a first round playoff preview. Game is available on Rouge et Or TV
QUBL Standings
Concordia 10-4
Laval 9-4
