6'3" Winn Clark, 6'8" Greg Gause and 6'4" Nic Nishikawa keyed a 16-4 run bridging the third and fourth quarters that gave the Redmen a 14 point lead with 5 minutes remaining and allowed McGill to keep pace with Concordia and Laval atop the QUBL. Bishop's had leads as large as 8 in the first half before McGill closed to within 3 by halftime. 6'3" Simon Bibeau snapped an offensive slump for McGill with 15 points while the Redmen "d" held Bishop's to just 8 points in a key 10 minute stretch of the game. The game was relatively sloppy with numerous missed shots and was very closely refereed with countless fouls slowing the pace down to crawl at some points. Onnex Blackwood had 17 points and 8 rebounds to lead the Gaiters. Clark had 18 points to lead all scorers, many in the second half.
