Haywood explodes again leading Huskies over Tigers; CBU at X tonight

Another 40+ point effort by King Handles Haywood, scoring an amazing 37 points in the second half alone, leads Saint Mary's back into the discussion as an AUS contender.

While Joey Haywood scoring exploits are amazing, saying SMU is becoming a contender is a stretch. Even with Haywood, the Huskies are not even a .500 team.
He put up 46 against UPEI and his team needed every point as they were taken to OT before winning.
It is frightening to think were they would be without him.

Huskies are trying to gel in a hurry but they have some pieces besides Haywood in Tory Fassett, Jerome Smith, and Harry Ezenibe.
Plus, Quackenbush teams are renowned for being late starters and finishing strong come March.
