CW Recap: Bears bounce back; Sask sets school record for points

The Calgary Dinos found themselves in a real jam on Saturday as they faced the #2 ranked UBC T-Birds in Vancouver in game 2 of their weekend series. Dealing with injuries to several players, and hitting the floor with rookies and 2nd year men for much of the contest, Calgary battled the whole way in dropping a 91-82 decision.

Trailing 43-40 at the half, the Dinos already had 14 points and 9 rebounds from rookie post man Matt Letkeman, and had played Tyler Fidler, their season-long top rebounder and scorer for just 9 minutes, as he had 3 fouls. The Dinos beat UBC in the 3rd quarter, to cut the lead to 63-62, but the ‘Birds scored 28 in the final frame, pulling away in the final minutes.
