Teeing up Shoveller semi's; Wesmen Classic & other coverage

Note that Streaming Sports Network with Bill McLean doing play-by-play will have both semi-final games of the 20th Rod Shoveller Memorial at DalPlex in Halifax beginning at 6 PM Atlantic (5 PM Eastern).  In the first game, Concordia Stingers meet St. FX X-Men in a battle of Top 10 teams.  Watch the matchup of 6'2" guard Kyle Desmarais and the X-Men pressure "d" led by 5'10" Christian "T-Bear" Upshaw.  Inside, the Stingers need to get more production out of 6'5" veteran James Clark and 6'7" freshman Zack Brisebois, who are likely to matchup up 6'9" Alberto Rodriquez.  Clark will likely check either 6'4" Jeremy Dunn or 6'4" Chad Warren.  Underlying key to Stingers is 6'3" Evens Laroche who is continuing to adjust to playing the three spot and 6'2" sharpshooter Decee Krah, who went 0 for 9 from downtown in Stingers first-round victory over Saint Mary's Huskies.  In the second game, Acadia meets host Dalhousie Tigers.  Axemen come off a tremendous come-from-behind win over Laval led by 6'8" Owen Klassen.  Dal had a focused defensive effort for the early part of their lopsided win over Queen's and look to put together that effort for a full 40 minutes.  Dal defeated Acadia in their AUS league home opener in early November.
