Canada West has the usual 6 series on the go this coming weekend, with the Saskatchewan Huskies and Manitoba Bisons in Winnipeg being the most intriguing of the bunch. Another that bears watching has the Alberta Golden Bears in the Fraser Valley to challenge the Cascades in Abbotsford. Both these series have big playoff implications ... the Huskies will harbour dreams of nabbing the #1 seed, while Manitoba and Alberta are rivals for the #4 seed and a home slot in the quarter-finals.
