Laurier 91, Lakehead 82 6'5" Kale Harrison had 25 points and 6'6" Maxwell Allin had 21 points, 10 assists and 7 rebounds to lead a spirited Laurier second half comeback as the Hawks moved into a tie for second place with the Thunderwolves by defeating Lakehead in Thunder Bay. Laurier trailed by 5 at the half but scored 54 second half points, once again showing their offensive explosiveness. 6'3" freshman Jamar Forde once again gave the Hawks a lift off the bench defensively and also scored 16 points on 7-8 shooting to help Laurier. Lakehead got 24 from 6'3" Venzal Russell.
Carleton 86, Queen's 73 In a chippy affair in Kingston, the Ravens overcame a spirited Gael effort and a scorer's table error that mistakenly gave 6'3" freshman Phil Scrubb a fourth foul early in the third to remain undefeated. Carleton held Queen's leading scorer 6'2" Dan Bannister to only 9 points including only 2 in the first half on 2-13 shooting and 5 turnovers. 6'6" Tyson Hinz led all scorers with 24 points, going 12 for 14 from the line as the Gaels committed 30 fouls on the evening. 6'0" Willy Manigat went 5 for 7 from downtown and finished with 20 for Carleton while Ryan Golden led the Gaels with 18. The Gaels welcome Ottawa Gee-Gees tomorrow night.
Ryerson 91, Laurentian 86 6'3" fifth-year senior Ryan McNeilly went 5-7 from 3 and had 25 points to lead the Rams to an important road win in Sudbury. 6'7" freshman Jelane Pryce added 22 while fellow frosh 6'0" Jahmal Jones added 22 for Ryerson, which overcame an 11 for 22 effort from beyond the arc by the Vees, led by Isiah Pasquale who finished with a game-high 27.

RE Queen's scoring table error. I was sitting behind the scorer's table and I can say with that it was not the scorer's fault.
Dave Smart apologized to the table post game for his ridiculous tirade which I believe proves it was a referee error.
It's not so ridiculous when a key player gets a 4th foul that clearly was not his when the game was far from over.
At least he apologized to the table after he calmed down...I know some coaches who wouldn't do that.
Whether it was the refs fault or if it was the scorer's table mistake is not the point...giving a foul to the wrong player, especially when it is a 4th or 5th foul is a CRITICAL error.
It has happened in the past, though not often, thankfully.
But it could be the difference between a team winning and losing that game.
I don't care who the coach is....Smart, Raso, Coach K, Kevin Hansen, Mike Katz....you make a mistake like that and OF COURSE they will go ballistic, who wouldn't?
