Saint Mary's won their first AUS tournament since 1999 as Aaron Duncan finished with 21 points for SMU, Ike Uchegbu had 16 with seven rebounds on 8-for-9 shooting, and tournament MVP Mark McLaughlin had 15 points and seven assists. Achuil Lual had 18 points and 12 rebounds for Acadia, Leonel Saintil had 15 and 10, and Shawn Berry scored 10 points. Andrew Kraus finished with 11 points and 8 assists.

Now comes the fun; do they give the wild card berth to the team that is higher in the less-than-credible official poll and that won once in a head-to-head match many weeks ago or to the team with a higher RPI and from a conference with actual depth?
My guess is they will give it to Acadia though Brandon is far more deserving, IMO.
