Brandon names DeFazio as New Athletic Director

Brandon University has officially announced that Kirk DeFazio has been named their new Athletic Director, replacing Rick Nicklechok, who recently took on a similar role at University College of Fraser Valley. DeFazio has a long history of association with athletics and teaching in Ontario and played several seasons with the CFL's Ottawa Rough Riders. The Bobcats also have a new Head Basketball coach in Mike Raimbault, who took over for reigning CIS Coach-of-the-Year Barnaby Craddock, now at UCFV. The Bobcats advanced all the way to the championship game of the CIS Nationals last season before losing to Carleton and are scheduled to return the majority of their roster from last season.
