The X-Men came out of the gates flying, getting numerous transition scores to jump to a 12-2 lead then finished the first half on a 9-2 run to lead by 18. Once again, 6'5" Terry Thomas was the energizer for X, attacking the rim in transition including a wonderful throw-down off a low-high pass from the low post from 6'5" Jeremy Dunn. UNB welcomed back 6'2" Will McFee, defending AUS Rookie-of-the-Year, an award he won ahead of Thomas last season and McFee was noticeably sluggish after not playing in the first half of the season. Nonetheless, this game was never in doubt as X built leads approaching 40, with all 12 guys playing including X's 10 man rotation getting ample minutes throughout.
The teams meet again tomorrow afternoon at 4 PM AT on SSN Canada for another two point game.
