Friday articles summary

Some great finishes in Canada West last night, most notable UBC's stunning last second comeback over Alberta and Jamelle Barrett at it again down the stretch for Saskatchewan at Victoria.  Fraser Valley had a big second half to keep the Cascades firmly in the Canada West Final Four discussion.  Also, somewhat quietly, Thompson Rivers WolfPack (5-4) now has won three straight Canada West league games for the first time, and its five victories are a record for the program.  How seriously the WolfPack, which has never qualified for the CW postseason, will be involved in the playoff discussion will be determined beginning tonight as TRU has the first of 7 consecutive games against serious playoff contenders when they host improving Manitoba Bisons.  After that, the Pack hosts perennial CIS Nationals contender UBC Thunderbirds for two games before embarking on what could be a season-defining, four-game road trip with games at Saskatchewan and at Alberta before travelling to Langley for a pair of games at Trinity Western.  TRU finishes with a pair of home games against UBC-O.
