Badgers squeeze past Guelph

Brock 77, Guelph 74  6'8" Brian Nahimana gave the Badgers the lead for good midway through the third quarter, part of a 10-0 Brock run and then later the Badgers salted the game with an 11-3 run late in the fourth to defeat the scrappy, tough Guelph Gryphons.  Guelph refused to go away despite a 3 for 16 effort from star wing 6'2" Dan McCarthy.  6'1" Andrew Kraus led the way for Brock with 21 points while Nahimana added 12 points and 7 rebounds off the bench including 6 points in the run after which the Badgers never trailed.  6'7" Adam Bering added 19 points for Guelph (5-4).  See also Role Reversal for Badger Guard (Bernie Puchalski, St. Catharines Standard)
