7 PM #5 Saint Mary's (1-0) at Cape Breton (2-0) The Capers hope to have two starters, 6'5" Phil Nkrumah and 6'4" Paul Blake, back in the lineup after missing time with injuries as they host a pair of important games against the Huskies.

8 PM UQAM (0-1) at Laval (0-2) Les Rouge et Or look to get untracked after a pair of heartbreaking losses last week: a one-point loss on a last second shot at Bishop's and then an overtime loss at home to McGill. The Citadins will look to push the tempo after surrendering an early 16 point lead against the Gaiters last weekend at home.

8 PM #3 Concordia (0-0) at Bishop's (2-0) Unbeaten and alone atop the QSSF standings, the Gaiters will look to establish consideration for a national ranking when they host the Stingers, who make their regular season debut in Lennoxville. Both Damian and Dwayne Buckley have been battling injuries.

8 PM #10 Guelph (2-0) at Laurentian (1-1) In Coach Shawn Swords regular season home debut (are we milking the Swords debuts a bit ?), the Vees should have their usual rabid crowd on hand at Ben Avery Gym, especially after their surprising come-from-behind win at Western last Saturday. The Gryphs are the newest entrants into the CISHOOPS.CA Top 10 after a pair of wins in Kingston last weekend including a defeat of then-#8 Queen's.

8 PM Waterloo (0-2) at #1 Carleton (2-0) Waterloo looks for their first win in the Nation's Capital Listen Live on CKCU Radio The game will also be shown LIVE! on Rogers Cable 22 in the Nation's Capital area.

8 PM Laurier (0-2) at Ottawa (2-0) The Gee-Gees play their regular season home opener after a pair of road wins last weekend while the Golden Hawks finish off a four game road trip with two games in Ottawa this weekend. LIVE! video webcast

8 PM RMC (0-2) at #2 Windsor (2-0) The Lancers dominated a pair of OUA East opponents and the young, freshmen-laden Paladins could be in tough on the road against one of Canada's top teams. LIVE! video webcast

8 PM Queen's (1-1) at Western (1-1) In one of the best games in the OUA this evening, the Mustangs and Golden Gaels engage in a rematch of a game three weeks ago won by the Gaels in come-from-behind fashion.

8 PM Brock (1-1) at York (0-2) In what could turn out to be one of the higher scoring games in the OUA this season, the Badgers face the Lions in North York. With only 31 more points, 5'10" Brad Rootes will move into 10th place on the all-time OUA career points scored list.

9 PM #4 UBC (5-1) at Winnipeg (2-2) The highly-ranked T-Birds visit the Duckworth Center where a large crowd could greet them. The Wesmen have played their last 3 games on the road and hope to produce another home upset. The game will be broadcast in Winnipeg on CFRW and available on the Internet LISTEN LIVE!

9:15 PM Victoria (5-1) at Manitoba (0-4) The winless Bisons look to upset the Vikes in Winnipeg.

10 PM Regina (4-0) at #8 Alberta (3-1) The Cougars have an opportunity to gain some national prominence when they visit the Bears in Edmonton. Preview from Golden Bears web site

10 PM #6 Brandon (4-0) at Saskatchewan (2-2) A very good matchup between two teams that participated in last season's Canada West Final Four tournament. The Huskies have battled injuries while the Bobcats, last season's CIS finalist, retain much of their talent base from last season.

10 PM Calgary (3-1) at Lethbridge (0-4) Provincial rivals square off in Southern Alberta as the Bekkering brothers return home to face the Pronghorns.

11 PM Simon Fraser (2-4) at UCFV (3-3) This early season, two-game set could go a long way in determining who could finish third in the Pacific Division.

11 PM Trinity Western (1-5) at Thompson Rivers (0-6) The Wolfpack look for their first victory of the season and try to get out of the Pacific Division basement at the same time. Listen LIVE!
