Mt. A vs. ABU Score Correction from Last Night

CORRECTION: My bad on the score between Mt. A and ABU; I've been properly corrected that the game was very tight with the final score actually 97-94 in favor of Mount Allison over Atlantic Baptist University. ABU's Jeff Vass went off for 37 points, while rookie Karl Frederick from Vaughn Secondary in Toronto debuted with 22 points. ABU twice came back from double digit deficits and had a shot to take the lead with 25 seconds left. However, in the end ABU could not deal with Mount Allison's veteran post play. 6'5" 4th year man Doyle Anthony paced Mt A with 27 points. ABU had only 7 available players with no one taller than 6'1". ABU has four other players who are currently playing on the ABU baseball team, currently ranked 4th in Canada amongst all universities, and preparing to host the National Tournament here in Moncton Oct. 19-21. Considering that Mt Allison was the ACAA conference finalist last year vs Mt St. Vincent, ABU Head Coach Greg Maillet was very pleased with his team's performance.
