Recent News from Across the Country

There are a number of noteable high school tournaments going on coast-to-coast as well as some recent and not so recent CIS news stories that caught my interest. The debate about FIBA rules in the CIS rages on and I'm collecting my thoughts around this combustible debate that I'll share later on.

CIS News

A pair of freshmen from Coquitlam’s Gleneagle Secondary dubbed the Talon Twins are fitting right in to Trinity Western’s program Talon Twins at Trinity Western

Howard Tsumura’s story on the HSBC Classic one of the top high school tournaments in BC that featured Robert Sacre, an early commit to Gonzaga and dubbed BC’s best high school baler since Steve Nash. Howard does an incredible job covering the BC basketball scene as you will no doubt understand after reading this and his plethora of other articles on high school and university basketball.
