Just got an email from noted Brandon Sun and Bobcats beat writer David Larkins saying that he and Brandon SID Jeremy Sawatzky have combined to develop a new sports site/blog geared toward CIS sports, primarily basketball. Additionally, the site will feature a weekly podcast that will have interviews with coaches, players and others from around the country. The site is called The Scrum. We hope to link readers in to the many great features the site promises to offer. The first guest on the Podcast is BU coach Mike Raimbault.
For those wanting to send best wishes to Brennan Jarrett (see article below), I would encourage you to send emails to Brennan's coach Greg Jockims. I'm certain that encouragement from across the country will help with Brennan's recovery.
Getting back to the multi-media for a second, we received a note from U of T Varsity Blues assistant coach Andrew Sommerville earlier this week which included a link to his first attempt at a Blues promotional video. We applaude Andrew for his efforts in helping to promote his program and encourage you to check out his creative work here
